Productivity is a very personal thing.

What may work for others, might not work for you.

Before going down the rabbit hole and taking in all the latest and greatest new methods from productivity gurus, take a step back and ask yourself:

Can I see myself applying this method on a daily basis?

Whether it be waking up at dawn or implementing David Allen’s complex productivity system in a bullet journal, if you can’t visualize it, it won’t work for you.

Understanding how you operate best goes a long way in finding a productivity method that works for you.

Self-awareness is key.

As someone who gets easily distracted and overwhelmed by productivity systems that involve more than three steps, simplicity is everything.

This is why I’ve ditched the systems and had success with a much simpler and straight forward method instead: Eat The Frog.
